ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper-Active Disorder)
ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyper-Active Disorder)
Prescription medication or a symptom of modern day society.
ADHD is not a disease or an illness or a psychological disorder. On a day (between 2012-2015, I can't remember when, I would state otherwise if I could recall; I was at the dentists clinic at Swanston St, and a woman, in the waiting room started talking to me about ADD. The conversation came around to the subject of medication, and somehow to the subject of the doctor that was prescribing me Dexamphetamines. Turns out she knew him, and she alleged that he had prescribed medication to people for money, and implied that he exchanged scripts for sexual favors. This doctor was a very decent man, and I know that he did no such thing. She also stated that she was going to report him to whatever authorities she could. The last words I exchanged with her was essentially; She said "I'm going to report him", to which I responded "No, you are not going to report him, don't do it.", to which she said "Well, too bad, I'm going to report him anyway". Prescription medication or a symptom of modern day society.
The doctor was diligent in how much medication he prescribed me, confirmed that I was - employed, overburdened with my duties, that while I did use speed and ice, was aware that I sought the medication for work purposes. I was not charged a $500 start-up fee, it was two consultations covered by Medicare. He took his job seriously, and made it clear that Dexamphetamine is not a speed substitute for Ice users. I never showed up to any appointment high, nor did I ever sell or trade or give away the medication that I was being prescribed. The starting prescription, I was intended to get 6 - 5mg tablets( Upped to 12 a day ) , a day's supply with my methadone, and the pharmacist gave me the whole bottle of 100 tablets. I returned the bottle to the pharmacist, minus the 12 or 6 tablets I had taken, and from that day on I was dosed per day.
As for the condition ADD, it is determined through diagnosis, which is simply determining whether a person has a short attention span. Most people with busy lifestyles fit this condition, and yet an air of mythology surrounds the prescription of Dexamphetamine.
{Ritalin is not a medication. Having been prescribed it, and having only 3 or 4 doses of it, I determined that the medication is evil, the feeling is not terrible, however, it is, unpleasant. }{Circa 2015, A friend, Sam, once gave me a psychiatric medication, said it was Cocaine, I doubted him, took it however, and was on the floor weeping and crying and feeling very depressed. There exists thousands of medications that can be prescribed in Australia, the most "Popular" are regulated, and the most needed are patented.}
ADHD is, to a degree, a means for the pharmaceutical industry to sell amphetamines legally. Similarly, Morphine is a pain killer that is prescribed and socially accepted, yet demonised when it is converted to diacetyl-Morphine, aka heroin. ADHD is a symptom of living in a society where a person simply does not have enough time to do what they need to do. The stimulant provides the "User" with an increase in synaptic nerve "Firing", and a slight euphoric effect that allows the intake of data, to be processsed into either knowledge or information; more enjoyable. The Dex prefix is indicative of the non-sexual drive that the medication has, as oppsed to other Amphetamine stimulants; such as Ice (Methyl-Amphetamine) or Cocaine. Lysdexamfetamine (With a F, not PH spelling) is a synthetic Dexamphetamine, and is also only prescribed through psychiatrists.
I have said that "There is a madness to my method" and that I am "In sane", meaning that I am aware of the constraints of sanity fall within a range <----SANE----> …..<----Not Sane---->. Conversely, many people reiterate that there is a method to their madness and are not insane. If people in society want access to Illegal narcotics in Australia, there needs to be a discussion as to the terms of what people are prepared to sacrifice, in order to have a lifetime supply to them. I have demonstrated, and am aware that people have observed the best and worst of me, which is not without constraints. < >. I will not, as a participant i a social experiment that has an element of both Narcotic use and behavior to it, endorse such access until legislation to return a section to the tribal people of this land is signed and actualised.
